Our experience was fantastic: excellent value for money, conveniently located near tour bus stops and cable cars, various options for self-serve breakfast, well-appointed rooms with necessary amenities like a microwave and fridge, comfortable single beds, ample closet space, plenty of outlets for device charging, an elevator, courteous and always available front desk staff, windows that let in fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere for sleep despite street noise. Definitely returning.
- Rooms are spotless and comfortable - I always choose this place when I'm in SF, great for the price. - Complimentary breakfast and WiFi are cost-savers - Very secure and easily accessible by BART and SF Muni. - Fast WiFi, perfect for remote work - Lobby and lounge are ideal for working and unwinding.
Perfect location. Everything is within walking distance—shopping, Union Square, and Powell BART station.
Close to public transport, easy walking access, not situated on a hill. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Fresh coffee is available in the morning in the kitchen.
Great value, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and a prime location.
The Village is a reliable spot for a few days' stay. I've been returning for years, and it remains a fantastic place.
Ideal location for overnight stays when working nearby.
Cozy spot with a lot of staff to maintain cleanliness. Great location at a superb price. The room had four beds; I initially thought they were bunk beds but four people can stay in one room. Small private bathroom, but functional. Breakfast is free, albeit not very healthy, but the clean kitchen allows you to make your own meal.
Absolutely loved it. Everything was just right. The availability of milk made me particularly happy.
Breakfast exceeded my expectations for a hostel! They offered homemade waffles with tasty options like syrup, Nutella or peanut butter, as well as hot coffee, orange drink, and water. Additionally, a variety of cold cereals, milk, toast, fresh fruit, and yogurt were often available. The kitchen also had a microwave, two stoves, and a refrigerator for personal use.
